Here's the newest lightsaber I've done... I'm calling her Conviction because this is a lightsaber for a man or woman with strong convictions lol. Honestly when I looked at the saber after I was done and turned her on the name just popped in my head... so I went with it.
All PVC construction with an Old Republic inspired design
3W Amber Rebel Star LED
3.7V 18650 Li Ion rechargeable battery
Temporarily running a speaker from an MR Vader, but I'll be upgrading that to a 1.5W speaker when I get the chance, and the speaker.
Nano Biscotte sound card w/lightmeat sound font.
My first WIP pic lol
Here's the finished saber
Honest feedback is always appreciated if the lightsaber sucks I'm always happy to know!
Thanks for looking everyone!
Video will be up once I have background noise levels are acceptable... tonight there was football and a sick child. LOL
She'll be going up for sale once I upgrade the speaker and get a blade dedicated.

It's pretty easy to work with, (this is coming from a complete electronics idiot.) I haven't played with the configurations yet. The swing sensors don't work well with stock settings. I'm thinking about buying a new font for it, but for a lightsaber I'm intending to sell it seems a waste.
Admittedly I wired up the entire saber... and in my short sightedness I didn't set up access to the card. I have to re wire it anyways for a new speaker, so I'm going to remedy that, and fix the settings so the swings register better.
Most people have probably heard the lightmeat and darkmeat soundfonts, but really they are pretty kriffing cool. I got the lightmeat sound, and it gives a unique personality to the amber LED.
On a side note, I fit all the electronics for this build save the speaker and the LED inside a 3/4" chassis. The chassis I used gives the PVC hilt some weight, and evens out the balance when you're using a thick walled blade. This leads me to believe that the nano is the best sound card out there for parks conversions.

I saw this on Facebook already, but I gotta say... excellent job Lucien! You really know how to work PVC to make some unique creations. I think the fiery amber blade matches the name perfectly, and the angled emitter gives it an additional measure of edginess. Definitely something I could see a warrior wielding.

Lol I'm not in a huge hurry to sell, I really like this saber lol. If someone does pick her up though I have good place for the funds lol. Plus it would be my first online sale. So far I've only sold these locally.
