Okay, don't laugh! When I was a kid I loved the Baby Huey comics. I actually read them up till I was about 12 or 13. I also liked the classics such as Duck Tails (lot of movie's were made based on the Duck tails stories) and Superman and Spider Man. Never really was a big X Men fan. I did like the Star Wars comics but they were hard to find back in the day. Now I pretty much only read Star Wars. Now that I can actually find them.

Man!That would be a nice investment! Would fetch a nice chunk of change today. I have that but it is in a big book of all the Star Wars comics that have Luke in them. It's like a few hundred comics all in one. Really cool book!

hmmmm.. lets see here, i love comics been collecting since i was a kid-- started with iron man and star wars, micronauts toys and comics!, but then sometime around 14 or 15 i thought it would be a good idea to give all my collection of comics and toys away as girls and surfing took over!! all those original comics, toys, so anyway i hit about 27,28 and decided to start collecting again so i started reading star wars, spawn, witchblade, fathom, was never really into the usual superheroes oh and i liked reading the darkness a lot, i think thats pretty much it- im out.

Conan The Barbarian was probably one of most dear to me. I was really drawn to it when I was a kiddo. Also read some Marvels like the Ghost Rider, X-Men. Donald Duck, in Finland known as Aku Ankka comics were probably the number one thing to me. I could just lay on my bed and read hours and hours of them. In my adult age havent read much of comics, just childrens books with my kids. Seems that it's a special task for me each evening as mommy doesn't change her voice for different characters lol, that's what the daughters say.

DD is awesome, especially by Don Rosa, Vicar or Carl Barks! Okay, Daniel Branca is very nice too. Shame that the current artists & writers don't produce such great stories and today's issues are seriously lacking in that area.
Otherwise, I'd love to read more SW comics, but story-wise they could also pack more punch...

Okay, so I thought I'd add my two cents to the comics thread as I've loved reading comics for as long as I can remember (even though I don't buy them on a regular basis these days).
I grew up reading Marvel comics, especially the Hulk. I still remember the first comic I ever bought. It was a British reprint called The Mighty World of Marvel and it featured the Hulk as its main character. The cover had Hulk going toe to toe with Doc Samson.
These days, rather than reading new stuff, I just revisit the old stuff I used to love reading. I've just finished re-reading The Korvac Saga, an epic Avengers story from the 70s, and The Great Darkness Saga, a fantastic Legion of Superheroes story from the 80s (I like my sagas).
The Hulk's still my favourite character though, so if I had a superpower I'd probably want to be the strongest one there is!

ZahcStarKiller: Yeah I have to agree. I just happened to stumble across spot #1 on the orbital machining Obi TPM run and had the opportunity to purchase it. That is pretty darn close to happiness.
