Hi everyone, Im back with this new run
I thought it would be a great idea to start a run of a clan saber (clan sabers are my seciality) more complex projects are still "cooking"
This partucular hilt is a 3-piece assembly of Blade-Holder /Main Body /Pommel
What will you get when signing in for a hilt:
.- Blade holder .- Main body .- Pommel .- Red bargraph .- Brass knob tactile switch assembly .- LED-bezel tactile switch assembly .- Aluminum knurled knob with set screw .- Covertec wheel machined out of black delrin .- Heatsink assembly from TCSS
It looks nice, a great replica of this particular hilt. Will the bar graph light up each one individually? I'm not too much of a KI fan though so might hold off on buying one for myself. I am wanting an arena hilt though hint hint
ARKM: Sadly no. Well, that's not entirely true. I did finish writing it but did not perform the steps and take pics of said steps.

ARKM: So it's like "Step 5: Using the high temperature temp, tape the paper with the design on it onto the metal part to be etched."

ARKM: ... but there's no Pic 4.

profezzorn: from other things I've read it's just PNP blue with some heat and pressure applied, right?

ARKM: Some use that. I could not get successful results with it but others have.

profezzorn: so what do you use?

ARKM: I personally use glossy magazine pages. I just rip a page out of a magazine and put it in the printer. The pages have to be the right thickness for the printer though. Too thin and they rip in the printer.
