What I'm getting: - Roman's hilt - Solo's blade holder - Either Vader's or Darth Ryo's Master Chassis (can't decide. but loving Ryo's mostly metal set-up) - Wanawanga ESB Kit - Probably VV 7/8 blade, unless better recommendations
Questions: - What type of momentary switch will I need to put under the red button and whats the install on that like? - What do I use for blade retention? - Can I leave the clamp attached to the top half of the hilt while retaining the L-twist disassembly. I ask because I will be using the clamp card for Secondary Main Power and an aux - Whats the best TriCree for ESB? BBW, RbBW or RGB ( I do love my having the option of any color for poops and giggles, also because Ill be wiring the crystal to reflect the main blade.) - Is a CF worth it for this run or just go PRIZM?
I looked at the partsofsw link and that made some choices harder. Such as which ESB hilt I wanted...... I'm thinking rivets/No upper screws, full two red buttons, chrome mylar, no tab, rivet kobold d-ring. Sort of a mix between Hoth and Bespin (pre-encounter). Suggestions?

Yes the clamp can remain although it will hide some of your chassis and most likely crystal chamber.
The rest is up to you. Everyone has their favorite variant of the ESB. I've changed one over the years from glass eye to two red buttons. I have wannawangas t track for my blaster and love it. For the Graflex though I prefer rubber.
The switch is use is a very small switch from Mauser. I don't have the part number on me. Someone else might chime in on that.
is there a way to wire the second red button(bottom) to the board using the SH holder? I dont know if there is a wire channel built in for that. I dont want to use the side pin thing that VV uses on there flex. I want to keep the outside as stock as possible.
Well I already bought the SH one so I guess we'all have to see. There was hardly any videos or pictures of it but I was strongly recommended it. That would suck if I couldn't even put a red button there.
Another question! haha I got my hands on a vintage and noticed that when the clamp is completely secured (twisted all the way closed), it's not at a 90 degree angle like it's supposed to be. is that just a normal thing i'll have to keep adjusting or is there a fix for that?

It was designed to be a camera flash not a lightsaber. The camera flash didn't need an alignment. When the prop builders designed the saber they most likely tweeked it until they achieved the look they wanted.
jaltrooper: Hey guys! Dumb question...but are there any t-shirts available, or any other swag I can buy to support the Page?

ARKM: We have challenge coins. Contact Luke Skywalker if you want one.

Luke Skywalker: We never did any swag. There's never enough interest to even break even. My sponsor coin run was a huge success and helped us pay the bills well into 2018 and even gave us the money to fund a couple of one time costs we incurred this year.

Luke Skywalker: As for shirts. I really need to get one for me as well. I've been wanting one with our new logo since we changed over. My desire has always been that this is a site for the members. I consider you all my friends and have no desire to make a profit from

Luke Skywalker: Site. I never intend to charge selling fees. The coin drive was a much better way to go imho. As for our logo, name and copywriter and TM's go. I have no issue with anyone wanting to use them. I ask two things. Please let me know prior. If it's crude

Luke Skywalker: My recommendation, and the place I will definitely go when I want to have a shirt done is TRA member defcon. Al's work is outstanding. Al is the Solo's Hold of saber bags and other fabric items. I've had him make me a couple of shirts and several

Luke Skywalker: I think I'm down to about 8 coins.

Luke Skywalker: ARKM what image did you use? Was it the one with SVD's glowing eyes? I'm really curious to see how our logo looks on a shirt. Defcon would certainly need to use the flattened simpler version. For a detailed logo I think you'd need it silk screened.
