Looking for some menacing sith robes, like Darth Maul's in the scene where he's in the desert and sends out his droids to search Tatooine, or possibly like the emperor's in the original trilogy. I dont know if i can sew any myself honestly, so if anyone knows any websites i can check out that do good work and is as easy on the bank as possible, id really appreciate it.
You'll have to find a vendor that's selling the right size of course. And no, it looks nothing like it does in the picture but the hooded tunic is not bad at all for the price. There are some obnoxious extra tabbard pieces I ended up cutting off.
Right now I have Lin at ICQ Costumes who is a member her working on one for me. she does fantastic and amazing work and is awesome to deal with. I have gotten most of the rest of my Sith Lord costume from her, its amazing craftsmanship and uber comfortable to boot. I will be the first to admit after a long troop more than once I have come one and passed out in costume on my couch.
I want to warn anyone who ordered something from AlienArmsDealers: warpdcostumes.com/
I ordered some costumes from them but they have disappeared. Their website, facebook page, twitter feed, gmail accounts were all deleted. If you know them, please ask them to contact me as they have my money. And, you might want to ask for your money back too.
ARKM: *waves hand* "I'm not the slacker you're looking for"

ARKM: Sadly no. Well, that's not entirely true. I did finish writing it but did not perform the steps and take pics of said steps.

ARKM: So it's like "Step 5: Using the high temperature temp, tape the paper with the design on it onto the metal part to be etched."

ARKM: ... but there's no Pic 4.

profezzorn: from other things I've read it's just PNP blue with some heat and pressure applied, right?

ARKM: Some use that. I could not get successful results with it but others have.

profezzorn: so what do you use?

ARKM: I personally use glossy magazine pages. I just rip a page out of a magazine and put it in the printer. The pages have to be the right thickness for the printer though. Too thin and they rip in the printer.
