I have been tinkering with the files before production based on wonderful feedback from all my brothers and sisters in the community, that is the best part about being in full control of every aspect of my prop company. FLEXBILTY and INDEPENDENCE THERE WILL BE NO CHANGE TO PRODUCTION TIME FOR THIS RUN.
I am able to keep my original design and make it ACCURATE!!!!!!!!!!!
With the different Artistic Renderings from PROMO to TRAILER This is the fully refined taking from all the Source material..
Someone once said that imitation is a form of Flattery, well then the guys at LUCASARTS must be grinning from ear to ear.........
Oh and guys the POMMEL IN MY VIDEO, is not threaded in.. IT IS PRESS FIT, and will be degreed to it's final position when final assembly happens.
You know I think I misinterpreted link's post. Now that I reread it, it sound like he knows the pommel is mounted to the slide off handle permanently. I are smart, duh! I gots me a 6 grade ejuhmuhcashun!
nah you're good ARKM This design is killer though. I know one thing... If by some miracle I come into enough money.. I will get in on this... but.. I dont think its in the cards right now. And hey! Whats to say that if this run is a success that there can't be a 2nd! lol
profezzorn: hey ARKM, did you ever write a that tutorial on the toner transfer method?

ARKM: *waves hand* "I'm not the slacker you're looking for"
Jun 23, 2017 16:24:16 GMT -5
ARKM: Sadly no. Well, that's not entirely true. I did finish writing it but did not perform the steps and take pics of said steps.

ARKM: So it's like "Step 5: Using the high temperature temp, tape the paper with the design on it onto the metal part to be etched."

ARKM: ... but there's no Pic 4.

profezzorn: from other things I've read it's just PNP blue with some heat and pressure applied, right?
Jun 23, 2017 16:37:26 GMT -5
ARKM: Some use that. I could not get successful results with it but others have.
Jun 23, 2017 16:47:16 GMT -5
profezzorn: so what do you use?
Jun 23, 2017 16:47:36 GMT -5
ARKM: I personally use glossy magazine pages. I just rip a page out of a magazine and put it in the printer. The pages have to be the right thickness for the printer though. Too thin and they rip in the printer.
