no sweat bro, I am not pressed myself about it. BESIDES I only own one lightsaber personally, and I have the TFU2 prototype but it has no electronics in it. But my daughter can use one of the 2 I got for her padawan. I know the guys will be happy and you went really fast considering all the extra work you do. So thanks

I have one ready to ship. I need to cut and sand the other nine adapters. I thought it would be quick but I have to take a ton of material off of the adapters to make them fit. The blade holder is very tight and I don't have a lathe so I have to sand each one inside and out with my belt sander and dremel. The plastic gets super hot so it takes way more time than I expected.
DS, I'd be happy to ship the one that is ready to you. Let me know if you're cool with that and I'll get you a shipping quote tonight.
If anyone wants their 7/8" blade now and wants to have me send the adapter separately when they are done, just shoot me a PM
I picked up Solo's Hold Prototype TFUII and Would like to know if you have any Blades left? My Saber is with Obi-Shane at the moment getting the CF7. Just thought I would grab one before they are all gone.
profezzorn: hey ARKM, did you ever write a that tutorial on the toner transfer method?

ARKM: *waves hand* "I'm not the slacker you're looking for"

ARKM: Sadly no. Well, that's not entirely true. I did finish writing it but did not perform the steps and take pics of said steps.

ARKM: So it's like "Step 5: Using the high temperature temp, tape the paper with the design on it onto the metal part to be etched."

ARKM: ... but there's no Pic 4.

profezzorn: from other things I've read it's just PNP blue with some heat and pressure applied, right?
Jun 23, 2017 16:37:26 GMT -5
ARKM: Some use that. I could not get successful results with it but others have.

profezzorn: so what do you use?
Jun 23, 2017 16:47:36 GMT -5
ARKM: I personally use glossy magazine pages. I just rip a page out of a magazine and put it in the printer. The pages have to be the right thickness for the printer though. Too thin and they rip in the printer.
