I got a buddie who owns a rare and vintage book store back in my hometown, and I stopped in to say hello today and he hooked me up solid with the cards of my choice, he has a wicked collection of stuff. I am gonna have these pro framed, not sure they are worth much if anything really but I think they would look cool hanging in my man cave.
Luke: "Boy, it's lucky you have these compartments."
Han Solo: "I use them for smuggling. I never thought I'd be smuggling myself in them. This is ridiculous. "
BMX? Damn, when was the last time I heard of this bicycle? LOL
Haha, I still have one in my garage, it belongs to my bro when we were still kids once upon a time.
Whoa! I never ride on one before, too small for me. LOL My wish were answered when they introduce Mountain Bike much later on but I was already more into cars at that time. Come to think about it, I have not ride a bike in a long time!

Those really bring back memories. I wish I could have kept mine from way back then. My little sister thought they would look better if she drew on them with crayons. She drew on every single one i had. It was enough to turn me to the darkside. Lol. I do have tons of Star Trek: TNG cards from over 20 years ago in excellent condition. I have at least 5 full sets plus a lot of the foil cards too. They probably are not worth what I paid for them back then now. Lol
profezzorn: hey ARKM, did you ever write a that tutorial on the toner transfer method?

ARKM: *waves hand* "I'm not the slacker you're looking for"

ARKM: Sadly no. Well, that's not entirely true. I did finish writing it but did not perform the steps and take pics of said steps.

ARKM: So it's like "Step 5: Using the high temperature temp, tape the paper with the design on it onto the metal part to be etched."

ARKM: ... but there's no Pic 4.

profezzorn: from other things I've read it's just PNP blue with some heat and pressure applied, right?
Jun 23, 2017 16:37:26 GMT -5
ARKM: Some use that. I could not get successful results with it but others have.
Jun 23, 2017 16:47:16 GMT -5
profezzorn: so what do you use?
Jun 23, 2017 16:47:36 GMT -5
ARKM: I personally use glossy magazine pages. I just rip a page out of a magazine and put it in the printer. The pages have to be the right thickness for the printer though. Too thin and they rip in the printer.
