Just wanted to add a couple of things on how to tell if a cell is a protected cell by looking at it. First of all a protected cell is actually a little longer than an unprotected cell. (about 2mm)
And a protected cell will have an indentation on both ends of the battery (indicating a pcb on both ends) while a non protected battery will have only one indentation on the + side. It is a little hard to tell from this pic but there is a pcb on both ends of the black and gold battery.

Time for another StupidQuestion(TM): When assembling a pack, is there necessarily an outer limit on parallel wiring? Series increases voltage. Should parallel increase current, or is this one of those electrical oddities where the current is only supplied when the electronics ask for it?
As an example, I read somewhere about "barrel" packs, where there were three or more smaller cells clustered together in parallel, to fill up as much "wasted" hilt space as possible. These clusters were then wired in series to supply 7.4v.
I've seen quad packs, which leads me to believe that you can do this, but nothing in the way of a concrete "yes". I just want to know if a serial connection of two 3-cell parallel clusters is going to fry a soundboard.
Still very new. Only made two sabers. Have pity upon me, for I am novice.
I love the little lies they tell themselves; that they are good or evil, or that their methods reflect some higher philosophy. The truth is that the Force is passionless, aloof; utterly disinterested in human ideals. It is light and dark, violent and peaceful, beautiful and ugly. It does not care what our opinions are. It simply is.
Rogue Five: Hi Bentley! Where y'all been?

Rogue Five: Sandpeople-Cool! I don't have any of the Noble Collection swords but I have a few of the United Cutlery ones and they are superb replicas as they're modeled directly from the original props. If you're interested in buying another one, I highly recommend

Rogue Five: Anduril. I have one and it is gorgeous and sturdily made. I believe it is a full tang sword so you could swing it around without it flying apart. Trust me, you'll feel like the King of Gondor holding this thing lol.

ARKM: "full tang United Cutlery" is an oxymoron.

ARKM: That does not mean that they aren't nice for hanging on the wall though. I have a UC Kurgan sword. I like it.

Rogue Five: Yeah I wouldn't go looking for a fight with any wall hanger swords lol. I think Anduril and Strider's Ranger sword are the only full tang swords in the LOTR line.

Rogue Five: I looked into getting a functional Anduril from a custom swordsmith but no one I found made a screen accurate one.

Rogue Five: That Kurgan one is nice. Sword afficianados like to dump on it because it has a two piece blade and they're right but who cares! It looks bad a**
