Hey guys I am looking to make some armour out of Worbla and was wondering if anyone might have access to Templates I can transfer to the worbla during construction? Was thinking of something similar to Sith Acolyte Armour or leg wise the ODST style of armour. Any templates you can direct me to would be amazing guys.
I'm not entirely sure about templates , but I good way to go would be to custom make them for yourself.
start with a few A3 sheets of card stock (or cardboard ,) and try drawing up a rough pattern based on what you see. then cut it out and fold/vend it to match your leg. if it doesn't look right to you you can trace that pattern onto another peice and make the modifications you think is nesssasary to get it right. Continue this until you're satisfied with how it looks. then probably try it out on the worbla (I've not used it before so can't help much there.)
it may take a while to get the pattern right, my arm arm our took 3 goes to get it the way I like.

ARKM: Sadly no. Well, that's not entirely true. I did finish writing it but did not perform the steps and take pics of said steps.

ARKM: So it's like "Step 5: Using the high temperature temp, tape the paper with the design on it onto the metal part to be etched."

ARKM: ... but there's no Pic 4.

profezzorn: from other things I've read it's just PNP blue with some heat and pressure applied, right?

ARKM: Some use that. I could not get successful results with it but others have.

profezzorn: so what do you use?

ARKM: I personally use glossy magazine pages. I just rip a page out of a magazine and put it in the printer. The pages have to be the right thickness for the printer though. Too thin and they rip in the printer.
