I know I've had this trouble before and someone here had the solution. I cat seem to locate the thread i had a year ago.
I cant get TCSS to open in ipad or on my mac. I have the IOS app photon that reroutes and changes the format to IOS and that works but it's slow and doesn't work for the MHS builder. I've had it work on my ipad and mac many times. I just cant remember what i did last time to get it working.
Ive cleaned my history and cookies with no success.
Well I have no idea how to do anything on Apple devices but if you can find your TCP/IP settings, you might try changing your DNS settings. If you are have it set to obtain automatically (or whatever words Apple uses), try using Google's DNS. Preferred is 126.96.36.199 and alternate is 188.8.131.52 . If you are already using Google DNS then change it to obtain automatically.
Currently I can access TCSS and it's forum just fine.

We're on the right track. I out my phone on cellular and I get right on. The second I go back to wifi it blocks me. I tried resetting the DNS settings on the iPad but no go
The odd thing is I'm blocked at hotels too and they a have different routers and settings. I might have to change my router settings. At least I can get on with my phone now. I can just hotspot to the iPad for a larger screen.
profezzorn: hey ARKM, did you ever write a that tutorial on the toner transfer method?

ARKM: *waves hand* "I'm not the slacker you're looking for"
Jun 23, 2017 16:24:16 GMT -5
ARKM: Sadly no. Well, that's not entirely true. I did finish writing it but did not perform the steps and take pics of said steps.

ARKM: So it's like "Step 5: Using the high temperature temp, tape the paper with the design on it onto the metal part to be etched."

ARKM: ... but there's no Pic 4.

profezzorn: from other things I've read it's just PNP blue with some heat and pressure applied, right?
Jun 23, 2017 16:37:26 GMT -5
ARKM: Some use that. I could not get successful results with it but others have.
Jun 23, 2017 16:47:16 GMT -5
profezzorn: so what do you use?
Jun 23, 2017 16:47:36 GMT -5
ARKM: I personally use glossy magazine pages. I just rip a page out of a magazine and put it in the printer. The pages have to be the right thickness for the printer though. Too thin and they rip in the printer.
