Very nice. Amazing work as usual. I got a pair of PRIZMs for these in anticipation of. If they fit, terrific. If a CF and CE can be squeezed into the larger hilt, I'll do that, but otherwise I'll go with the 2 PRIZMs.
Just re-read your post. CF edition... I'll go with that and the one PRIZM then.
Good news everyone! Obi-Shane just showed to me the prototype install of the Shien chassis, it's awesome Chassis is validated and first post updated with the list of part and quick install guide until I can created the full instructions myself!
Shoto chassis will soon follow!

Got some more pics for you guys! That little adapter cable you see is for the RICE connection. I thought that this was a good way to get around the space issues and still give us RICE connectivity, which is a must IMO. We will more than likely be doing this in the future on our other chassis solutions were space limitations are an issue.
profezzorn: hey ARKM, did you ever write a that tutorial on the toner transfer method?

ARKM: *waves hand* "I'm not the slacker you're looking for"

ARKM: Sadly no. Well, that's not entirely true. I did finish writing it but did not perform the steps and take pics of said steps.

ARKM: So it's like "Step 5: Using the high temperature temp, tape the paper with the design on it onto the metal part to be etched."

ARKM: ... but there's no Pic 4.

profezzorn: from other things I've read it's just PNP blue with some heat and pressure applied, right?
Jun 23, 2017 16:37:26 GMT -5
ARKM: Some use that. I could not get successful results with it but others have.

profezzorn: so what do you use?
Jun 23, 2017 16:47:36 GMT -5
ARKM: I personally use glossy magazine pages. I just rip a page out of a magazine and put it in the printer. The pages have to be the right thickness for the printer though. Too thin and they rip in the printer.
