These are fantastic. Sent you a PM. In the meantime, trying to understand the difference in material with respect to thickness and stiffness. And for those that have purchases these, any issues with the decals lifting or wearing off? Thanks all
Just wanted to give a quick shout out to Al for making these bags. I received my brown weathered faux leather bag today, Jedi logo and triple stripes in black vinyl and weathered and it fully met all of my expectations. Al was easy to work with, understood all of my requests, and delivered a well crafted bag within my requested timeframe. And matches my SH v2 perfectly. As someone said before, this was something I never knew I needed until I got one. 100% satisfied and looking for a couple more in the future.
Now if I only knew how to post stinkin' pictures without an URL to a photo hosting site....
This was an order from ebay. Got a new Tatooine to replace the one I sent out with the saber I sold. The Imperial cog is also canvas as well. The one on the end is silver swede with gold trim. The red one was a bag I haven't seen before that Al included as a gift. Thank you so much for this. It's really a unique bag: Crimson weathered leather, creased, with weathered First Order symbol and stripes. I'm not sure what saber I would use this for, but the bag is really sharp looking in person. Apparently, if you believe the rumors, there is supposed to be a new Evil baddie in the Last Jedi, to balance that side with Kylo Ren, who is sure to have a brand new lightsaber we haven't seen before, so maybe this bag will be for him.
Then, of course Solo will have to design that new saber... haha the circle of life here on TFA
ARKM: Sadly no. Well, that's not entirely true. I did finish writing it but did not perform the steps and take pics of said steps.

ARKM: So it's like "Step 5: Using the high temperature temp, tape the paper with the design on it onto the metal part to be etched."

ARKM: ... but there's no Pic 4.

profezzorn: from other things I've read it's just PNP blue with some heat and pressure applied, right?

ARKM: Some use that. I could not get successful results with it but others have.

profezzorn: so what do you use?

ARKM: I personally use glossy magazine pages. I just rip a page out of a magazine and put it in the printer. The pages have to be the right thickness for the printer though. Too thin and they rip in the printer.
