If you like the NBv3, I have four of them. I was stocking up on all sorts of sound boards at one point. I don't know if I'll ever end up using any of these. Maybe I'll keep one, just in case, if you want the other 3 just let me know.
Wow, so nice. I just received that Copper Kota yesterday, just in time for Christmas, and I have to tell you. I can't keep my hands off of it. I already installed the "Sidious No Mercy" font as the 2nd font on there to go along with the Vader font that was on it already, and this saber is just a fun, fun saber to toy around with. Such a solid piece, all around. My wife couldn't believe it was made out of PVC pipe, lol
Your newest one (above) looks like an even darker version of that. I can't image this lasting long on the market.
Merry Christmas, Al, and thanks so much for the saber and all of your excellent work.
Oh, that's good. Throwing the bag in is a great idea. You don't realize how important those bags are until you start using them, then you can't do without them. Then you order a half dozen more like me. lol
sandpeople: FB issue #2. trash talking. Because the person isn't face-to-face with some posters leads them to spout off all manner of garbage. it's often ill-informed to un-informed, yet some folks still defend the rabid ignorance. opinions aren't facts.

sandpeople: FB #3 repetitive. without having a forum to point folks to, it just gets bogged down with all the "me-to's!"

sandpeople: FB #4. Douche-baggery is celebrated. it's like getting banned for being a tool is a merit badge for some of these clowns. Nope, it's just someone being a tool.

scarecrow: I agree about the vulgarity. I've seen some thinly veiled racism, as well. I like our family friendly format. I just joined facebook and I've tried to steer people this way just to have my comments deleted.

scarecrow: I also have no idea how people can learn to build from the info on the groups. Most of it is just regurgitated nonsense from people that have no idea what they're doing.

scarecrow: I mentioned mil-spec wire, psu's and dmm's just to get shot down by kids saying none of it was necessary. Yeah, they know best.

sandpeople: indeed. it's ok for hearing saber news, or for some special runs that we might not hear about on just forums, but for much more than that, it's either ridiculous or fishing grounds for scammers and insta-smiths.

Luke Skywalker: Plus the format is horrible. How could you ever find anything specific. I’m not old school in thinking FB is the new trend. For things like sabers, a forum format works best.

scarecrow: My feed is set up for updates from vendors and that's it. I used to check them individually so now it's a breeze and I can see the comments, too. Sometimes there's pertinent information in them.

megtoothsith: FB is ADHD, too hard to find specific information, forum format is more organized for the elderly...like me.

profezzorn: could be more organized though: It would be really cool if there were one or two people who spent some time finding the useful information on the board and organizing it and making it easy to find...

scarecrow: It's already in the works

maverickhunter: Glad I’m not the only one who absolutely despises using facebook as an alternative to the forums.

Rogue Five: Just noticed that TRA passed the 100,000 post mark. Congrats and thanks to Luke Skywalker, AmpTrooper, and the rest of the crew that founded this awesome forum!!!
