Been running into a lot of difficulty with my PC 1.5. all I get when I pull the kill key is the three beeps and I cant seem to find the config file. The only thing on the SD card that I received with it is sound files for Bespin II
Hey Joel, I can't do it right now, but drop me a line tomorrow to remind me and I'll send you over the files if you'd like. When I set up that SD card I never checked for the config file, I just loaded the font for you. My bad.
Send me an email tomorrow about it and I'll send you back whatever you need to get rolling. Sorry about that man.

Can you post a list of sounds and files you have on the SD card?
What do you mean? I have the wave files for both Light meat as well as Bespin II. Im waiting on the config file for bespin II but I have everything for light meat loaded on to the SD and when I put it in, it still beeps.

Here is what the manual says:
A sound bank has 22 sound slots split as below: ?a boot sound (boot.wav) ?a power on sound (poweron.wav) ?a power off sound (poweroff.wav) ?continuous humming (hum.wav) ?8 clash sounds (clash1.wav to clash8.wav) ?8 swing sounds (swing1.wav to swing8.wav) ?a blaster blocking sound (blaster.wav) ?a blade lockup sound (lockup.wav)
So you need to remove everything else except these sounds and the config.txt and leds.txt files.
Make sure you format the sd card first and then copy and paste all of the files at once to the freshly formatted card.

OK, if you are formatting the card before loading up the correct v1.5 files and it is still beeping, I have to ask, is this v1.5 still locked? Have you tried installing the default files on a freshly formatted sd card?

Hmm... just trying to clarify, you are copying the config, leds and wav sounds and pasting them on your sd card, not copying a folder that the files are in? So when you put your card in the computer you see:

The problem is that I cant get to the wiring. The board is in there pretty good and I would have to cut the wires to my accent LEDs in the bubble strip to even get the board out. The wiring is correct. There is probably just a loose connection or one tiny piece of exposed wire making contact with something it shouldnt, which makes no sense because I wired this thing up very carefully and made sure all exposed contacts were covered.
Will probably go up in the for sale thread within the next couple of days.

Quick question on the PC 1.5 (well, not "quick", but specific):
I've got my board all wired and am using an LED Engin 10W WWWW for testing purposes. It is wired in a series/parallel pair configuration (two sets of two dice in series, both sets wired in parallel). This should take me to just about the upper voltage limit, but I'm sharing 1.5A across a configuration that can take 2A (if I've got that right).
My question is this: Through the usage of an external driver (BuckPuck, PEX, etc), is there a way to top off the last .5A I'm missing? I want to drive this LED to its full potential, but the PC 1.5 can't quite get there. I'm almost thinking that stealing power directly from the battery, using a constant current driver of some kind to control the power, and feeding it into the LED to get it up to .5A would be the way to go.
If it won't work, I'm not that upset about it. We're not talking about huge amounts of brightness lost here; I'm just not happy about underdriving it.
EDIT: Looking at the how-to thread on TCSS Forums, it appears as though the "Full Powah" setup bypasses the main LED pads altogether, using the PEX to draw power and one of the extraneous pads on the board to control flicker effects and such. I'm not sure if I want to do that. I might just end up having to settle for what I've got.
The possibility of Flash On Clash does interest me, but I am now wondering if there's a way to wire it so that it flashes all four dice with that extra 500mA I can't get from the main pads. That would be awesome.
I love the little lies they tell themselves; that they are good or evil, or that their methods reflect some higher philosophy. The truth is that the Force is passionless, aloof; utterly disinterested in human ideals. It is light and dark, violent and peaceful, beautiful and ugly. It does not care what our opinions are. It simply is.

Ok, I think I might have a faulty motion sensor on my PC 1.5 because no matter what I do to the motion settings it just doesnt pick anything up when Im swinging the saber around
also, if I lightly tap the blade it makes motions sounds like it's supposed to with the consistency that I want it too. I have no clue what's going on. I could be completely missing something in the settings, even though I have adjusted all the parameters that apply but I figured I should ask here and get some more experienced input.
EDIT: this is a completely different PC than the one that my previous posts refer to.

jaltrooper: Hey guys! Dumb question...but are there any t-shirts available, or any other swag I can buy to support the Page?

ARKM: We have challenge coins. Contact Luke Skywalker if you want one.

Luke Skywalker: We never did any swag. There's never enough interest to even break even. My sponsor coin run was a huge success and helped us pay the bills well into 2018 and even gave us the money to fund a couple of one time costs we incurred this year.

Luke Skywalker: As for shirts. I really need to get one for me as well. I've been wanting one with our new logo since we changed over. My desire has always been that this is a site for the members. I consider you all my friends and have no desire to make a profit from

ARKM: Luke Skywalker, hit me up if you want the image I used for the front of my shirt.

Luke Skywalker: Site. I never intend to charge selling fees. The coin drive was a much better way to go imho. As for our logo, name and copywriter and TM's go. I have no issue with anyone wanting to use them. I ask two things. Please let me know prior. If it's crude

Luke Skywalker: and vulgar and casts us in a bad light I simply won't approve it. The other thing I think would be nice is that if our name is used on things like t-shirts that you do make a small donation to help support the site.

Luke Skywalker: My recommendation, and the place I will definitely go when I want to have a shirt done is TRA member defcon. Al's work is outstanding. Al is the Solo's Hold of saber bags and other fabric items. I've had him make me a couple of shirts and several

Luke Skywalker: I think I'm down to about 8 coins.

Luke Skywalker: ARKM what image did you use? Was it the one with SVD's glowing eyes? I'm really curious to see how our logo looks on a shirt. Defcon would certainly need to use the flattened simpler version. For a detailed logo I think you'd need it silk screened.
