So my costume is nearly completed finally. I feel at least more legit now that I have a real belt Capsules coming in later in the week then I'll be more complete. So here are some detail pics so far. Will post completed pics when my capsule sets come in. I plan to wear this for Cincinnati Comic Expo this year which lots of Star Wars actors are gonna be there including David Prowse rare US appearance so can't miss that for sure Was wondering though, I plan to get my Darth Vader ANH autographed on the hilt somewhere, what would be a good protectant to keep the signature from never rubbing off or is that impossible to do? Anyway, what do you guys think of my costume so far? Also that's my newest saber. Finally got me a Sentinel V4 saber with windows in the emitter and in Sun Rider's Destiny color, missed having that color so

ARKM: *waves hand* "I'm not the slacker you're looking for"

ARKM: Sadly no. Well, that's not entirely true. I did finish writing it but did not perform the steps and take pics of said steps.

ARKM: So it's like "Step 5: Using the high temperature temp, tape the paper with the design on it onto the metal part to be etched."

profezzorn: from other things I've read it's just PNP blue with some heat and pressure applied, right?

ARKM: Some use that. I could not get successful results with it but others have.

profezzorn: so what do you use?
Jun 23, 2017 16:47:36 GMT -5
ARKM: I personally use glossy magazine pages. I just rip a page out of a magazine and put it in the printer. The pages have to be the right thickness for the printer though. Too thin and they rip in the printer.
