I realize that I2-R2 has just been released, but I'd like to suggest a new feature that hopefully shouldn't be too difficult to implement.
I'd like to have a configuration option to make the aux button trigger a clash instead of a blaster block. Sometimes I like to shadowbox with my saber and I'd rather be able to trigger a clash without actually hitting the blade against something. In the past, I've accomplished this by simply copying my clash sounds into the blst folder and setting the blast color to match the clash color, and this worked great. However, the new Alternating Clash feature isn't used for blaster blocks, so this method now produces a comparatively inferior result, especially on neopixel string blades.
In lieu of a workaround, is this something that could be added without too much effort?
It'd be nice to trigger this by holding the aux button like the Plectar boards
As far as I know all plector boards are holding the aux to trigger a lockup, which is what my boards do as well. That's pretty much been phased in as the industry standard.
To the original requester, thanks for your request, here at Naigon's Electronic Creations we take user feedback seriously and will consider this for a future release although there are never any guarantees about what features will be released and when they would be released if deemed to be a feature that will be included.

blessedwrath: Finally have more time to actually do things, now that I've left my job. I'm eager to get back into saber building again. ^_^

blessedwrath: As a first step, I've actually messed with TinkerCad a little bit. I've got the first run of custom chassis discs on the way. Gotta test 'em before I can offer them for sale.
