Hello everybody. I'm new to the community & pretty upset I didn't find out about you guys sooner, you guys are all awesome folk. I made my first purchases & unfortunately need minor repairs. I've done my research on companies & custom crafted sorcerers but I have no idea how to build, repair nor construct a saber.
Will anyone help me out or point me in the right direction please?
It's my kill switch on one of them. Once kills witch was removed everything was fine but upon reinsertion of the kill switch I felt something push up & now it won't reconnect or latch to the internal mechanism.
Also I would like to upgrade my other Saber with a louder speaker & brighter lights. Would you happen to know anyone who would take up these commissions?

Ahh both sound like easy fixes. There are a a few DOZEN people on this forum that are very well versed in that kind of work, including myself. Can you provide pictures? You have to upload them to photobucket or another hosting site first then drop the links.
Yes I could but I might need a good minute or two because I'm not that tech savvy as you could tell. They both happen to be on "youtube" for a more in depth look at them if you'd like to help me out with this commission?...would you happen to be from California?
Sabers are by Roland Palotai he crafts phenomenal hilts. It's his "Kylo" & "Starkiller Kota Elite"

You can link to YouTube, but a picture and description of the current problem would be best.
I'm in Oregon, but only 10 miles into Oregon on the Cali border. Due to the fact that I am a moderator here, I will refer you to one of our other endorsed professionals first to avoid any conflicts of interest. However if they are busy, I would be glad to help you out.
As for the speaker and LED upgrade, that's pretty simple stuff that most of us here could help you with. What kind of sabers are they? What Kind of soundboards? If you're rocking an ultrasabers/saberforge setup, then we are going to likely advise you to change the entire internals and go with a Plecter Labs or NEC soundboard (both are top of the line, slightly different, and up to user preference). The difference would be massive from anything US or SF.

Disregard, I didn't see the part about where you got the sabers. Go ahead and link to YouTube videos of the sabers and I should be able to tell you what kind of electronics are inside. If they're high end, then they tend to be NEC or Plecter boards already. The pros don't really use anything else typically. Upgraded speakers and LEDS for either of those two boards would barely take an hour for an experienced saber smith.
Agh, I see. Okay sounds great. My only problem is I'm using my smartphone due to the fact I don't own a cpu or laptop at the moment. I'm having trouble dropping links. Any recommendations?...I tried copying to my clipboard & files but I don't know how to post them up on here from my phone

Oh good lord. It didn't click until now, RO-Lightsaber. Those are some crazy nice hilts. You got yourself a couple of dreamboats! Those are definitely Plecter boards. Very easy to service and upgrade LEDs. The only difficulty is with assembly and disassembly, as those sabers are probably very intricately built.
methos: Money can't buy happiness... but it can buy lightsabers, which is damn close

ZahcStarKiller: Yeah I have to agree. I just happened to stumble across spot #1 on the orbital machining Obi TPM run and had the opportunity to purchase it. That is pretty darn close to happiness.
