Solo's Hold and NerfWorx crew... Before I make a payment for my slot (as I was one of those interested in BK with possibility to go for the pair --slot 97), I wish to check first with you all to make sure on this. Is it possible to try and divide up the payment for the pair if I wish to still go for the pair, but cannot put down the full deposit right away for the pair? Or simply, if I choose right now, to for sure grab the BK and place deposit down for it, then decide before the run closes to add the RO to the order and pay the deposit for it, can I do so?
This is my first run I have participated in and as these two are in many ways one of my 'unicorn' sets (as a fan of both Kanan and Ezra), I would love to be able to snatch this opportunity while I have the chance. Of course, if I do have to choose, I will likely just grab the BK, as it is of higher one my list of the two. But if there's the chance I can work out a way to divide up the payments to still go for both, it would make me very happy.
You may choose to reply to my query here or PM me with any answers to my queries. I just know I am only starting out in teh hobby and community, so I simply wish to figure things out so I can hopefully own both sabers of two of my favorites of the Rebels series.
Working on possibly getting 1x RO (listed as a maybe)...will all depend on finances...TBA ASAP
(Just realised this might not make sense ?....just to clarify....) There are 2x BK under slot #47.... One for a friend (non forum member so under my name too... He paid his deposit in one go...mine was done in two payments
But both deposits are now fully paid for 2x BK slot #47
Sorry for any confusion...I should've explained better earlier
profezzorn: hey ARKM, did you ever write a that tutorial on the toner transfer method?

ARKM: *waves hand* "I'm not the slacker you're looking for"

ARKM: Sadly no. Well, that's not entirely true. I did finish writing it but did not perform the steps and take pics of said steps.

ARKM: So it's like "Step 5: Using the high temperature temp, tape the paper with the design on it onto the metal part to be etched."

ARKM: ... but there's no Pic 4.

profezzorn: from other things I've read it's just PNP blue with some heat and pressure applied, right?

ARKM: Some use that. I could not get successful results with it but others have.

profezzorn: so what do you use?
Jun 23, 2017 16:47:36 GMT -5
ARKM: I personally use glossy magazine pages. I just rip a page out of a magazine and put it in the printer. The pages have to be the right thickness for the printer though. Too thin and they rip in the printer.
