I'll keep this short and sweet.
This site like most Star Wars site is to be family friendly. Our rules are very clear about that. Our rules include every portion of the site to include the chat box. This also includes off site links that would go against our core values and site rules.
Our rules were put in place so members of all ages could enjoy the site. But we also have adults that would prefer not to deal with questionable material.
Breaking site rules will get you a ban.
Please contact any of our staff if you need further clarification of our policies.

As far as I know, I haven't committed any serious offenses. I will endeavor to keep this true. However, as I can be a bit thick at times, I request a friendly warning if I stray too near to the fence.
I will also keep an eye out for developing situations. I'd rather cool down a situation before it becomes a problem than watch people get into it on the chatbox. We're not here for that.
Side Note: While we're talking of rules, I'd like to request a clarification on some of the prohibited behaviors listed on the main rules thread, by AmpTrooper. Apart from a form of British currency, I honestly have no idea what "shilling" is. Perhaps a brief definition of these terms, added to the list, is in order.
I do not want to break a rule without knowing I've done so.

No worries. Most people are not surprised when they get reprimanded.
This warning stems from an event today where a member decided it would be a good idea to post an avatar in the chat room of a naked woman.
Shilling came from Starwars.com rules. It would be falsely bidding on an item to run the price up. Example. I bid on my own item on eBay to hopefully drive the price higher. Most rules or words can be found on google. That's how I learned what it was. LOL ;D
We are always open to ideas as well. If anyone thinks our rules are wrong in anyway, need a tweaking or edit dont hesitate to contact any of the staff. This site is a members' site. We simply have mods to keep it running. Are certainly open to new ideas. We've actually had a few suggestions already implemented.

Good to know. Thank you, Luke. I'm sure the sum of these rules simmers down to "Don't be a twerp", so it should be fairly obvious what not to do. Still...reminders are good for keeping things straight.
I wonder if Luke had this much trouble when he built his first saber...

Bump for a refresher with additional information added.
Would anyone using the chatbox please refrain from discussion or even alluding to any activity that could be considered indecent, illegal, or inappropriate for the viewing of a minor, or that could lead to any minor that sees it to be able to easily access the information by simply copying and pasting a line of text into Google.
