I forget the price for the OT lines. I seem to recall mark and Carrie were around $250 or so to stand in line. You could even see them as they were inside a huge curtain cubicle. There's plenty of chance to meet actors like Peter Mayhew, Jeremy Bullock, mon mothma, etc. those lines were short and they were in plain site.
Don't miss the R2 races if they have them again. They were kind of fun.

It wasn't a bad kit. It was better than an Fx Set of armor. It wasn't the quality of AP. I'm happy with it. I did a lot of upgrades to it. The belt was junk. I replaced the belt, hand guards, and most if not all of their internal strapping. The armor is thin in some areas but not insanely thin. You can't beat it for the early tier prices which is what I came in.
At some point I'd like to sell it and get an AP set.

I loved the korbanth TPM I had. It's not a great dueler though when wearing a robe. Those pommel cubes love to snag your cuffs. Unless you're in the Rebel Legion Or costuming it won't be that big of an issue. Just something to consider.

Welcome aboard jaltrooper. I finished off my TK last October and just need to install electronics in my vintage E-11. Welcome fellow 501st-er from CTGarrison. Trooping as a TK rocks much more than as a Jedi. I'm on the list right now to get my first trading card. I can't wait to be able to hand those out to kids.
I'm sure you'll find both a warm welcome and needed help and answers as you learn the ropes to Saber building. We've got many very knowledgeable smiths and members that are more than happy to share their expertise. You'll run into some "trade secrets" everywhere but you'll find all the answers you need to get you going on those garrison sabers.

I don't support nor does the IRA encourage bootleg copies. I can appreciate the desire to have an original uncut version of our favorite trilogy. I read an article just this week hinting the Disney may finally release the OT in its original state sometime later this year. I will be the first to purchase a copy. There were a few additions I liked in the updated OT. For the most part I'd rather see it as I did in 1977.
I really liked the cleaned up special effects that were seen around the ships. You could literally see where they cut the film around the tie fighters as they came towards the falcon. I'm fine with cleaning that up along with removing the orange glow under the speeder. But adding in CGJ characters like jabba in the docking bay or that messed up song and dance number at jabbas palace. It ruined it for me.

To Zahcstarkiller you must listen. Trained in the rules he has been.
Unless it's a sealed licensed collectible which we wouldn't expect anyone to open, it must be opened. Unlike licensed Props which usually have a higher level of quality control. custom Sabers often have small defects and imperfections.

ZahcStarKiller: Yeah I have to agree. I just happened to stumble across spot #1 on the orbital machining Obi TPM run and had the opportunity to purchase it. That is pretty darn close to happiness.
